Introduction: A Heartfelt Mission

Hi, I’m Molly Trexler—a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with nearly three decades of experience and a mom who truly understands the emotional rollercoaster of navigating a child’s medical challenges. When my own child faced brain surgery, I experienced firsthand the fear, uncertainty, and deep desire to advocate for the best possible care. That personal journey, combined with my years of professional experience, inspired me to create Heartstrings—a coaching program designed to support moms facing congenital heart disease (CHD) and complex medical diagnoses.

I want to share my story with you today, not just as a healthcare professional but as a mom who has walked this path. My hope is that by opening up about my journey, you’ll find the understanding, support, and strength you need for yours.

My Professional Journey: From Nurse Practitioner to Coach

Over the past 29 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for thousands of children and families facing congenital heart disease and other complex medical conditions. I’ve witnessed the incredible resilience of children and the unwavering love and strength of their families.

What My Experience Has Taught Me

💡 Expertise in Action: I’ve guided families through some of the most challenging medical decisions of their lives, learning that knowledge is power and that even the smallest victories matter.

💙 Emotional Connection: Medicine isn’t just about treatment—it’s about communication, compassion, and making sure parents feel seen and heard. A well-informed, empowered parent is a child’s greatest advocate.

🌍 Support Beyond Medicine: Moms don’t just need medical facts—they need holistic, emotional, and practical support to navigate the journey. You deserve a space where your questions, fears, and emotions are acknowledged and validated. That’s why I created Heartstrings—not just to educate, but to walk alongside you in this journey, offering guidance, reassurance, and community.

My Personal Story: A Mom’s Perspective

Beyond my professional expertise, I’ve been where you are. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and desperate for answers.

A Life-Changing Experience

When my child needed brain surgery, my world shifted. I suddenly wasn’t just a nurse practitioner—I was a scared mom, trying to navigate a complicated medical system, ask the right questions, and find emotional balance amid the uncertainty. That journey deepened my empathy and strengthened my purpose—leading me to create Heartstrings.

The Heartstrings Philosophy: The 4 P’s of Faith 💖

Through my experience as both a mom and a medical professional, I developed my version of The 4 P’s of Faith, a mindset shift that transformed how I approached both my child’s medical challenges and my own emotional well-being:

✨ Pardon: I learned to let go of guilt and recognize that my child’s medical condition was not my fault.
đź’Ş Power: I stepped into my role as an advocate, educating myself and asking tough questions.
🌿 Peace: I discovered the importance of self-care and finding moments of calm amid the chaos.
🎯 Purpose: My experiences fueled my passion for supporting other moms on this journey.

Why I Created Heartstrings

Heartstrings was born from my deep desire to provide both professional insight and heartfelt support to moms like you—moms who are doing everything they can for their child but still need a guiding hand.

🤝 Holistic Support: Heartstrings is about more than medical knowledge—it’s about emotional resilience, advocacy, and the mindset shifts that make this journey more manageable.
đź’¬ A Strong Community: I wanted to create a space where moms could connect, share experiences, and uplift one another because no one should go through this alone.

You Are Stronger Than You Know đź’–

If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that medical challenges may be overwhelming—but the strength of a determined mom is even greater.

I invite you to join the Heartstrings community, where together we can turn challenges into opportunities for growth, healing, and empowerment.
